 After sitting through the presentations and listening  , i retained a lot of information  on each chapter. My group covered chapter 3 "intercultural communication" which talks about communication between people. communication can be very difficult  because everyone has their own way of doing so. everyone is different whether if its by culture, race, ethnicity, gender,  disabilities, class level, age, and there are many more other classifications. After working on that chapter i have a better understanding why  people communicate the way they do . Everyone is different. listening to the presentation and reading the chapters after i was able to grasp a lot of information on "communicating in groups" .From chapter 9 i learned about the communication that goes on  between groups. A group can be anywhere from 3-10 people. There are four different pattern types depending on your culture and co-culture.  The way you communicate with your family reflects on how you communicate with others in a group.Group 3 that covered chapter 10 spoke on what roles there are in order to complete a task . A group role is to complete a task . There are many roles within a group that grasp different information that help complete the task they were asked to do.

  Reflection on Chapters 3,9, and 10 By: Amanda Caballero Through watching all the presentations, I've learned a lot of information to apply to my real everyday life. These chapters go inadept on topics like Intercultural Communication, Communicating in Groups and Group Leadership and Problem Solving. disabilities reflection by Francisco Alcantara

with the presentations on disabilities, just like the first presentations that we did, I have learned a lot of new stuff. learning about the disabilities, their history, the different agencies that help people with disabilities and watching those wonderful interviews has been a great experience. For me, the most interesting disabilities, and the ones that I mostly learn about were: the deafness, which has an interesting background as deaf people in the past used to be persecuted by religious people because they couldn’t hear the word of god.
